There’s nothing more gratifying than hearing “Hey, will you make that again this year?”
In my time as Head Baker for my family’s Thanksgiving dinner, here are the recipes that have been the biggest hits as well as a few personal favorites.
A Classic: Pumpkin Pie

If you ask me for my favorite Thanksgiving dessert, it is and always will be Pumpkin Pie. And hot take: give me filling made from canned pumpkin over roasted pumpkin any day of the week.
The Best Dinner Rolls

Soft, golden, and irresistibly fluffy, these homemade dinner rolls are easy to make and the perfect side for any holiday meal. Buttery and tender, they’re sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
A Chocolate Option: French Silk Pie

With a buttery graham cracker crust, rich chocolate filling, and a cloud of freshly whipped cream on top, this pie is pure indulgence in every bite. When I make it for Thanksgiving dinner, there are never any leftovers around the next day.
For the Vegans: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Have vegan family members at your Thanksgiving dinner? Make them these pumpkin chocolate chip cookies! Just replace the egg with some more pumpkin pure or oil and you’re good to go.
Something Fruity: Apple Crisp

Nothing warms you up on a cold night better than a serving of freshly baked homemade apple crisp. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate fall dessert.
A New Addition: Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie

Last year we didn’t make it to our usual Thanksgiving meal, which meant new foods, different traditions, and most importantly, an introduction to this Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie. It’s so good, I entered it in a local Pi Day Baking Competition and won!
